27 Aug CSIO Barcelona entrusts TCR AREA again with the design of its stands
Once again, CSIO Barcelona puts its trust in TCR AREA for the design of the stands of its Polo Park, hospitality and VIP areas. From the 3rd to the 6th October 2019, Barcelona will become the epicenter for equestrian enthusiasts, as it will host the grand finale of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ for the seventh consecutive year. The event will take place at the Olympic course of the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona, where the 18 most important teams in the international equestrian scene will compete in different events under the watchful eye of horse jumping fans. Healthy competition is guaranteed. The hospitality and VIP areas have a mission: to provide a selection of spectators with the best panoramic view of the event. The Polo Park, on the other hand, will bring us the joy of social life and the excitement for this sport. With over 15 days of assembly, we at TCR AREA will do our best to make it an unforgettable sports event.
As has become customary in previous years, the team at TCR AREA has been working on amazing premises that will facilitate the social interaction of fans, organizers and participants in the common areas of the 108th edition of the International Jumping Show. We aim to combine functionality, safety and entertainment in spaces that match the level of exclusivity that defines such an event.
The final goal is to provide a unique experience to spectators, emphasizing the view of the event regardless of the lighting conditions or the location. Thus, the hospitality area, filled with elegant details that recall the equestrian world, has been designed in different levels for fans to appreciate the show without losing the perspective of the course. All this is done in compliance with the demanding safety regulations of an open air sports event that gathers dozens of visitors of all ages.
One important part of the design of the stands for CSIO is the lighting, an element we always take into account at TCR AREA when designing a stand. Warm and indirect light results in an elegant atmosphere in line with what we wish to convey: exclusivity and the enjoyment of open air sports.
The other area at the CSIO that we are excited about is the one known as the POLO PARK. This is an area open to the public where visitors can participate in family activities, or have a good time in the attractions, games and concerts. A joyful space, ideal to be visited with children and where the little ones will be able to start loving horse riding by having a great experience at the pony park, among other activities.
Teamwork with other brands and partners will be key for the hospitality and VIP areas to offer visitors a first-class experience that stimulates the senses. Professionals specializing in lighting, sound, stands and services collaborate to create the unique and elegant atmosphere of CSIO. An event that will doubtlessly start the season of international trade fairs, providing us with the required energy to bring our creativity to events all around the world.
